                         Lot # 2466Mexico, El Banco De Londres Mexico Y Sud America, P-S222 Unlisted Trial Color, 50 Pesos. Proofs of face and back printed on india paper die sunk on white card with large margins. Unlisted brown border and undertint with blue text, title and vignette, while listed colors are black vignette, title and text with brown undertint. Back is the listed blue color. Vignette of man and boy with pack horses or mules on windy mountain pass with happy "Bon Vivant" sailor on left and woman pouring water from jug on right. Facsimile signature of Wm.A.Jones is printed as Director on note. Choice uncirculated condition. Extremely rare and attractive Mexican trial color Banknote. Possibly unique in this color.

Lot # 2423.  Mexico Bono De Caja. El Banco Central Mexicano. ND, (ca.1908); Ser. C. P-Unlisted. 1000 Pesos Specimen of extremely rare and attractive note that is not listed in Pick catalog. Red specimen overprint, POC and "00000" serial numbers. Similar to previous note but this note has 4 added coupons on right side and a change in the text at the bottom. Bottom text reads "ANNUAL PAGADERO A LA PRESENTACION DE LOS COPUNES CORRESPONDIENTES". Vignette of allegorical woman holding ship over arms of Mexico. Back has denomination. Black with light red undertint. Unc. ABNC
 
 
Lot # 2434. Mexico Bono De Caja. El Banco Mexicano De Comercio E Industria. ND, (ca.1908). P-Unlisted. 1000 Pesos Specimen of extremely rare and attractive note that is not listed in Pick catalog. Red specimen overprint, POC and "00000" serial numbers. Vignette of 3 allegorical women. Back has denomination. Unc. ABNC.
 
 
 
 
Lot # 2462.  Chihuahua. Mexico Estado De Chihuahua, Tesoreria General, Deuda Publica. 18--, (ca.1870's-80's). P-Unlisted. 1,000 Pesos. Specimen of unique and attractive banknote. Unlisted in SCWPM catalog. Notations indicate that this was possibly a circulating "Baby Bond", which would have been useful for currency as well as for savings. Red specimen overprint, POC's and "00000" serial numbers. Vignette of locomotive on right and woman with rake on left. Back is brown with Mexico arms. Counterfoil on left. Text on circulating bond states "El Erario del Estado conforme a su Ley de Presupuestos pagara al portador - Un Mil Pesos - en plata del cuno mexicano". Note appears choice uncirculated except for horizontal archival fold near upper middle of note due to archival storage. Large margins on note. This was all that was found in archive. ABNC.
 
 
Lot # 2467.  Mexico El Banco De Campeche Proof Banknote. 19--, ca.1903-1909. P-S110p. 20 Pesos. Proofs of face and back printed on india paper mounted to white card. Face has large margins and back is cut down to banknote size. Black border and steamship vignette over light yellow and blue undertint. Choice uncirculated condition. Text on circulating bonds states "El Erario del Estado conforme a su Ley de Presupuestos pagara al portador - Diez Pesos - en plata del cuno mexicano". 2 were found in archive. Unc. ABNC.
 
Lot # 2443. Morelia. Mexico El Banco de Michoacan. 19--, (1903); Ser.A. P-S340s. 20 Pesos Specimen. Red specimen overprint, POC and "00000" serial numbers. Unc. Condition. Very rare note. Priced $1750 in Unc. as specimen and $3000 in issued Fine condition. Also includes matching proof vignette of Michelena. ABNC.
 
 
 
Lot # 2449. Monterrey. Mexico El Banco Mercantil De Monterrey. 19--, (1907); Ser.Z1. P-S357As. 500 Pesos specimen. Unlisted series. 2 very small staple holes on top edge of border keep this note from being Unc. Very rare and desirable note. Note is unpriced in Pick. ABNC.
