Notations indicate that this was possibly a circulating "Baby Bond", which would have been useful for currency as well as for savings. Red specimen overprint, POC's and "00000" serial numbers. Vignette of locomotive on right and woman with rake on left. Back is brown with Mexico arms. Counterfoil on left. Text on circulating bond states "El Erario del Estado conforme a su Ley de Presupuestos pagara al portador - Un Mil Pesos - en plata del cuno mexicano". Note appears choice uncirculated except for horizontal archival fold near upper middle of note due to archival storage. Large margins on note. This was all that was found in archive. ABNC.
